Selwyn Cornelius Millington went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2017, after losing his battle with cancer.
Selwyn was born on the island of St. Vincent, West Indies, on October 22, 1935, to the late Agatha Millington and Samuel Herbert.
Selwyn attended the Methodist Grammar School and graduated from Dorsetshire High School in St. Vincent.

He worked various jobs in St. Vincent before migrating to Trinidad, West Indies, where he worked with Alston - one if Trinidad's largest shipping companies. He was invited to a wedding on the sister island of Tobago,- that's where he met his wife Earline (sister of the groom). Earline migrated to America and three years later returned and married Selwyn, he then left Trinidad to join her later in New York. He lived in New York for ten years, during which time he worked in the health field. He and his wife then moved to Florida and he continued working in the health field. Upon retirement, he went to work as a school crossing guard with the Titusville Police Department.

Selwyn's passion was sports, dancing, and he enjoyed meeting and greeting people and most of all - singing. While living in New York, he was a member of the Queen's Community College Choir and had the opportunity to sing in Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, New York. He was a member of the Greater Canaveral Barber Shoppers and of course, our church choir.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 43 years, his daughter - Sandra Melville (Keith) of Orlando, two grandchildren -Chesa and Aisha Melville, brothers - Sidney (twin to Selwyn), Fitzroy (deceased), and sisters - Elcita and Irene (deceased). Nieces Merle, Erica, Ann, Ettie, Janice and Yvette. Nephews Wayne, Noel, and Bert and lots of great nieces and nephews. Sisters-in-law Belinda, Angela, Merla and Denyse. Brothers-in-law Rawle, Lennox, Samuel and Lloyd, and lots of other relatives and friends and church family.

Selwyn lost the battle with cancer, but,
won the battle to be with his father in heaven.
