Terry E. Lanaris, 89, of Titusville, FL, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. Born in Buffalo, NY, Terry moved to Florida in the mid 1960's where he owned and ran the Royal Chef Restaurants (Titusville and Eau Gallie) with his wife Jane. After selling the restaurants Terry went to work at the Kennedy Space Center and retired in 1986.
He was the son of Greek immigrants and was extremely proud of his Greek Orthodox faith. He was a decorated WWII veteran who served in the United States Army, Company E, 271st Infantry Regiment, 69th Infantry...

Terry E. Lanaris, 89, of Titusville, FL, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015. After selling the restaurants Terry went to work at the Kennedy Space Center and retired in 1986.
He was the son of Greek immigrants and was extremely proud of his Greek Orthodox faith. He was a decorated WWII veteran who served in the United States Army, Company E, 271st Infantry Regiment, 69th Infantry Division, European Theatre. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane and son, Michael. Terry was married to Jane for 58 years prior to her death. He loved his family immensely and took great interest in their many activities and vocations to include: sports, public education, healthcare, drama, law, hospitality, theatre and music. He was extremely proud and supportive of his grandchildren.
Terry is survived by his son, Mark Lanaris (wife, Brenda) of Longwood, FL and daughter Karen (husband, Michael) of Titusville; 5 grandchildren: Megan (husband Ryan), Eliese (husband Mitchell), Katelyn, Michael, and Luke.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Inurnment with military honors will be at a later date.
